How to Heal a Canker Sore - a quick guide

Canker sores, those annoying and painful mouth ulcers, can strike at the most inconvenient times, making it difficult to eat, speak, or even smile comfortably. In this guide, we will explore various methods to help you heal a canker sore quickly and get back to your normal routine with a confident, pain-free smile. 
 Before we look into the remedies, it's crucial to understand what canker sores are and why they occur. These ulcers are shallow, painful sores that develop on the soft tissues inside your mouth. They can appear on the inside of your lips, cheeks, under your tongue, or at the base of your gums. 

Do not confuse Canker sores with cold sores which are caused by the common cold virus. These ulcers are typically small, round or oval, and have a white or yellowish center with a red border. While the exact cause of canker sores remains unclear, below factors can trigger their development: 

1.Minor Mouth Trauma: Accidental bites, rough brushing, or dental work can trigger canker sores in susceptible individuals.
